The police should definitely be called in cases of single-sided damages and any death, injury, alcohol etc.
MINI DAMAGE INSURANCE: *** This is an insurance that covers you up to 10,000.-TL (TEN THOUSAND TURKISH LIRA) in case of minor damages such as scratches, collisions etc. that may occur while parked, tire, glass and headlight damages, except for double-sided damages for which a police report cannot be kept.
